Reference conditions:

CONTINUOUS - applicable for supplying power in lieu of commercially purchased power for unlimited number of hours at variable loads. A 10% overload is available. The rating conforms to BS5514, ISO-3046 and DIN6271.
STANDBY - applicable for supplying power, at variable loads, in the event of public supply failure for the duration of the emergency. The rating conforms to BS5514, ISO-3046 and DIN6271.

Description:

Radiator cooled engine coupled to alternator mounted on base frame with control panel set mounted for automatic start builds.

Engine:

Multi-cylinder, four stroke cycle, radiator cooled compression ignition type. Complete with replacement element air oil and fuel filters, fuel lift pump, fixed speed governor, fuel solenoid, pusher fan, water pump, thermostat and by-pass, starter motor and charge alternator.

Alternator:

Brushless, self regulating, self exciting type. Screen protected and drip proof enclosure meeting the requirements of BS4999 Part 20. Single bearing construction with drive from engine via a flexi disc coupling bolted directly to the engine flywheel. Winding insulation class H. Voltage regulation is maintained to within the limits of +/-1% at any fixed load (no load to full load)

Base frame:

Engine/radiator and alternator assembly are direct mounted on a fabricated all welded steel construction. Anti-vibration mountings are mounted between engine and the base frame.

Battery:

Lead acid type. Battery supplied for export

Silencer:

Standard absorption type and flexible exhaust pipe supplied loose

Each set supplied with instruction manuals, test certificate.
